The Phoenix Trust is a local charity which offers funding for services not generally available within the NHS.
We help disadvantaged families by offering financial help to parents whose children would otherwise go without. We have contributed towards school trips, holiday club fees, child safety equipment, ear thermometers and much more.
The Trust can help anyone of any age, who lives in the Cirencester area, or is a patient of the following surgeries:
- Phoenix Surgery
- Avenue Surgery
- Park Surgery
- St. Peters Road Surgery
- Rendcomb Surgery
The Trust funds the Indigo Young Peoples Service, which offers a wide range of services and advice to young people.
We support the Community Connexions, providing door-to-door community transport service, which enables people to maintain their independence and freedom. Community Connexions operate using wheelchair accessible vehicles driven by their own highly trained drivers and volunteers using their own cars.
We also support Corinium Talking News, which brings digitally recorded news to people who are blind or visually impaired.
The Trust also subsidises the services of complementary therapists, including an Acupuncturist, an Osteopathy and a Foot Health Practitioner and we encourage the practice of Mindfulness.
Anyone can apply for funding and each application is considered on an individual basis. Please speak to your GP, Nurse or Health Visitor, who will contact the Trust on your behalf. The Trust aims to provide immediate help when it is needed.
